Audio Visual Installation
October 2, 2009 by JoelC2009
For most people, the procedure for audio visual installation just consists of taking their new plasma or LCD TV out of a massive box and plugging it into a home movie system, clicking the “on” button and waiting for the auto set up program to run.
If you’ve bought a cheap home cinema system and TV that’s probably enough although to be fair to the makers, you ought to allocate a bit of time to following the set up instructions fairly.
But who isn’t in a hurry at this stage!
Suppose however that you have purchased better quality home cinema kit and have a high quality, high resolution LCD or plasma display or perhaps a projector then it is often worth getting a qualified AV engineer to help you configure and set up your equipment so that you get a top quality audio and visual experience.
There is little point in owning top flight electronics and paying scant attention to setting it up carefully.
Careful AV installation really does matter. It makes a big difference.
AV Installers are experts in image and sound calibration. They can help you get the best from your equipment using specialist technical equipment of their own. But if you are after a top quality AV installation and have a reasonably substantial budget then you should consider using an AV installer to help you specify the equipment you need in the first place. The ideal system should take into account the quality of the space and acoustics of your home cinema so that you get the cinema quality AV experience you want. Large rooms with high ceilings and hard reflective surfaces need entirely different settings on your amplifier than low rooms with plush carpets and curtains.
A competent AV technician will explain how he works without boring and bamboozling you with technical jargon but never forget that the ultimate judge of your AV Installation is you yourself.

You are probably going to have to go back to school to get your certification for teaching. A bachelor's by itself is not enough to teach on in the US. Contact your State DOE for futher information that is specific to each State.
You're probably not going to be able to teach much with your degree in Electronics Engineering. Outside of high school science, you're going to have to take a lot of general classes probably to be certified in early childhood education.

The job hunt starts with a pitch-perfect résumé, and design consultant-slash-headhunter Marjanne Pearson is the ultimate judge. She knows the business from the inside—despite a lack of architectural training, she’s been partner in a firm—and her ability to communicate and network are legendary. Pearson’s first client when she launched her own consulting practice in 1987 was Frank Gehry. Today, she offers a seemingly uninterrupted feed of news, information, and advice for designers as on Twitter. Thousands of architects are looking for work right now. What’s the best way to go about it?
