Wow! You must have had a bad experience with harsh words like that. I'm sorry that happened to you. I (and the merchants I've helped secure funding for) obviously feel differently. If someone is ok with (and can get) a traditional bank loan- then by all means get a bank loan. We help businesses who either can't get a bank loan or don't want to put up collateral or lose their house if their business fails because they mortgaged it for the business. The biggest problem will come if she fails to make timely payments. The creditor will be calling him. As co-signer he's responsible for making payment if she doesn't. She could just default and leave him holding the bag.
