Hawaii Vacation Rental – Your Tropical Paradise

March 15, 2009 by

Good accommodations are one of the top considerations when going on vacation. For many of us, our immediate first idea is a chain hotel or motel with a familiar name. However, there are alternatives, even in tropical destinations like Hawaii. Perhaps a Hawaii vacation condo is just what you are looking for during your stay in paradise.

A Hawaii condo rental will provide you with a relaxed, secure accommodation in a homey environment. It doesn’t matter when you select a villa, a house, or a Hawaii condo rental, you will find much more tranquility and privacy than you can ever find in a hotel or motel. Besides, you don’t even have to worry about staff members coming in and out of your room when you choose a vacation rental.

Eating out at every meal can easily become the most expensive part of a vacation. But when you have a Hawaii vacation rental, the kitchen is there for your own use. It’s more cost-effective and convenient to pour a bowl of cereal and brew a cup of Kona coffee in your bathrobe than it is to dress up and go out for breakfast. And best yet, you don’t have to worry about restaurant hours or tipping your server.

While some hotel rooms may have kitchenettes, a rental will almost always have a full size and fully equipped kitchen and be more versatile. Eating on a private balcony or around a familiar dining table can also feel more “homey” and help you relax. A rental may also be much more luxurious than a hotel would be for the same amount per day.

Hawaii vacation rentals are available for just a few days or for much longer stays as well. A good travel agent can help you find these properties or you can do a search on the internet and find them easily. You may even pick a destination since if, for example, a Kauai vacation rental pops up as a special offer at a great price, you may decide that this is the island for you!

The drawbacks that some people find to a Hawaii vacation rental is that you will need to do some things that a hotel usually does for you. On the other hand, a little cleaning, cooking, and making your own bed is not much of a problem when it comes with the comfort of being in a real home instead of one of dozens of commercial bedrooms. The rental can make the whole vacation much more peaceful and relaxing. If you think you’ll miss room service, just remember that you can order a pizza in Hawaii just like you do at home!.

I was only in town for a few days, but it was a glorious few days. The hair has actually gone lighter, as advertised (they told me that it would do so over a few days, hence the need for an initially darker colour, but hairdressers always say that to me, and this is the first time it has proven to be true). So I'm happy. :D Change in attitude to the positive, definitely.
