Hawaii Vacation Rentals: The Vacation Of A Lifetime

March 3, 2009 by

Many people considering Hawaiian vacations fail to think about one of the best and most enjoyable ways to enjoy Hawaii: rentals. Many assume that the only accommodations available are hotels, when there could be nothing farther from the truth! Hawaii rentals could be the best part of your next Hawaiian getaway. The diversity of the rentals in Hawaii reflect the diversity of the islands themselves – offering you the luxury of dictating the kind of vacation you will have.

A Big Island rental, offering an authentic Hawaiian experience can be found in any of the Island’s six distinct regions: Hamakua Coast, Hilo District, Puna District, Ka’u District, Kona Coast, and Kohala Coast. The distinct regions each provide different perspectives of Hawaii for its vacationers. Hamakua rentals, for instance, provide off-the-beaten-path rentals where you can loosen far off from the disturbance and ruckus of the more-populated areas.

A wide array of choices are available with Kauai rentals. You can choose a condo located on the popular Poipu Beach, or a remote house in Anahola. Within minutes, you can be shopping at some of the best places available in the Islands and not have to deal with the large crowds. Either way, Kauai offers its visitors the vacation of a lifetime.

Whether you want to be in the middle of the action downtown, or in a remote spot far from crowds, Hawaiian vacation rentals have the right place for you. With its lush, tropical beauty and exotic locales, Hawaii will give you the vacation of a lifetime.

That doesnt sound good. Why allow such large buildings to come up in an allocated sanctuary.

I agree with Tracy. :) I live on Kauai and though Princeville is lovely, when I have a chance to stay in a hotel for the weekend, I go to Poipu. The beaches on the south side of the island are beautiful and it tends to be sunny in Poipu even when it's cloudy or rainy on the rest of the island.

Too bad you only have 3 days here. There is so much to do and see! Make sure to take a little time to relax on the beach…maybe for sunset. It's just spectacular here!

I would recommend Kauai. I lived on Oahu in Waikiki (Honolulu) for 6 month about 10 years ago and it was awesome, I also visited Maui, Kauai and the island of Hawaii (Big Island). I think Oahu is way better than its reputation, you just have to explore the rest of it outside of Waikiki as well. Kauai strikes me as the nicest balance of them all between a romantic gorgeous island with some tourist activities versus natures pleasures. I loved the Big Island as well, very diverse settings around the island and you can watch the volcano.
