Valiant is a completely different story. It takes place in New York and the main character is a girl named Val. It is a very good book! But it is not the sequel to Tithe, although the stories do cross at one point.
Ironside is the sequel to Tithe. It doesn't really matter which order you read them in. I read Valiant first, only because Ironside wasn't out yet. But since you just finished Tithe it might be a good idea to read the Ironside first. Either way they are all really good books!!
